A weird place to find a good article for sure. The interview is decent, although short, and touches upon Big Art's attitude towards Street Art. This issue is something I've encountered in many different mediums and situations.

Imagine: Big Art owns a really nice home, and when it's owners and friends look out the window they see what they believe to be Street Art shivering in the cold in the dead of winter...always hoping to be let inside. Street Art looks through the front windows of the house from the sunny summer sidewalk and sees the cold of winter raging inside the home, with a padlock on the door and golden bars on the windows.

Also, Street Artists quietly rejoice this week as Mayor Daley announces he will not be Mayor after 2011. Will it change Chicago's stance on Street Art/graffiti? Probably not.

BigL has appeared often in my part of town...here's hoping all goes well for them!
